I really understand holidays. They are Holy! A time to be completely present with the people around you, and with yourself. The main thing for me has been to remain relaxed no matter what - everyone has a different idea about what their Holiday should be - how much to pack, when to leave etc.
My aim is to let my wife and my daughter enjoy their holiday the way they would like, and for me to do the same. May every day be a Holy Day for you!
